What does Nightwing bring to us on this issue? Well, with the help of Huntress, they keep the track of the Spyral. This will bring more questions to our beloved Grayson head, trying to understand the reason of a previous partnership. Beautiful combat scenes along most of the pages, pushing our couple of spy-heroes to the edge. When Nightwing must decide if he goes one step further, and took off the stone in his shoe, without truly understand the why.
What is this all about?
‘SPYRAL’ part two! Nightwing and Huntress have been ambushed by Spyral, and their old friend Tiger is leading the charge! Will the duo find out what corrupted their former agency-or are they about to be disavowed and burned?
We are placed in some desolated streets, that give us the sensation that our heroes are on they own, back to back fighting against whatever the world will throw them. Jumping into the unknown to find the necessary aid at the right moment. This the air our couple need to keep moving to their objective.
This comic comes and goes on the fast track. As it begins at full speed and they keep fighting through with no opportunities to plan before they act. But Tim Seeley doesn’t give the reader the chance to breathe. Right as they take action to hit the core of Spyral, some twists come in, just to slap you in the face. Bringing you back to reality, answering the question Nightwing has on his mind, and that he let us know at the beginning of the previous encounter. But with a response that punches its nose, screaming “take a seat”.
Javier Fernandez and Chris Sotomayor show us a great, continuous and changing battle. The dynamics of the fight scenes here are on point, with fluid motion and easy to follow scenes.
Sotomayor does a great job of always keeping our eyes flowing and appreciating every single movement.
A highly recommendable issue of Nightwing, Spyral part two is not one to let get away. Enjoyable from begging to end, with great pacing throughout keeping you glued to the pages. I cannot wait until the next part of this, what will Dick Grayson do now? Does he trust what he is seeing? Can he think of anything else besides this new threat? Man, my anxiety won’t keep things easy until next time.
Hope you enjoy this adventure as much as I did guys! See´ya next time.
